Don’t you hate coming into a series in the middle? Well author Josie Brown doesn’t want you to start the new year out with that problem! So she’s offering one of my readers a digital copy (Kindle, NOOK, iOS, or Android) of book one AND book two of the Totlandia Series. Escape the cold of winter with a book that takes place in the lovely California climate! My review of Book Two is below and you can read my review of Book One here. Just leave a comment below before Wednesday, January 16.
. Totlandia: The Onesies, Book 2 (Winter)
E-Format: 309 KB
Publisher: Colilquy (Nov. 19, 2012)
Synposis:
In this second book of the Totlandia series, five mommies are just one misstep away from entry into the elite Pacific Heights Moms & Tots Club. Everyone has a scandalous secret to hide, but who will be the next to fall?
As the club’s founder, Bettina, ratchets up the stress level with a series of holiday-themed challenges, the cracks begin to show. Jade’s past catches up to her in the most unlikely of settings. Jillian’s struggles to make ends meet are complicated by Bettina’s demands. Ally’s work and home lives collide, threatening to expose all of her secrets. And Lorna’s already fraying family ties are torn to shreds by a series of devastating events.
With just four spots remaining, will the five remaining ladies turn cutthroat? Or will their newfound friendships be strong enough to help them band together?
Review:
Well, the Mean Girls have grown up and spawned! Time and again one character or another remarks that “everyone has secrets”. Boy, do these girls have secrets. But it’s what they do with that brings the real fun: some they share, some they keep, and some they save so they can do future mischief! In the world of the Pacific Heights Moms & Tots Club secrets are more valuable than gold…or a slot for their offspring in the best private school in town.
Half the fun of Totlandia is recognizing the women we all know in the characters. Of course these women are WAY over the top but we’ve all seen the manipulations, the self-esteem issues, the power struggles in a sandbox in our own neighborhood. Maybe that’s why it’s so easy to sympathize with these women (the nice ones) or pity them (the really nasty ones).
Against a setting of holiday parties that take the group from Thanksgiving to New Year’s this book just flies by. And, in Josie Brown’s typical fashion, leaves you begging for more. Who will find love, lust, money, belonging, revenge or success next? Totlandia Book 2 is a perfect diversion while you’re waiting at your child’s next tuba lesson or basketball practice.
Don’t forget you have a chance to win e-copies of Books 1 and 2 by leaving a comment before Wednesday, January 16.

Nice review. Sounds like an interesting book.
Wow! They’ve spawned. You’ve got my interest now.
Some of these women…you know they just wanted a baby because they got bored with the teeny little dog they carried around in their purse. But some are loving mothers caught up in a mad, mad world.
